Timing

Pick before it locks.

01

Stage picks

Each stage prediction has a configured lock time. You can edit your current pick until that lock point.

02

Classification picks

Checkpoint predictions use their own configured prediction window and lock before the relevant checkpoint.

03

After lock

Your submitted prediction is fixed. The bots are subject to the same applicable lock rule.

04

Late entry

You can still join the competition, but missed prediction opportunities score 0. There is no average, handicap or retrospective bonus.

Race outcomes

Official results decide every score.

Stage result available: the official podium is scored normally.

No official podium: the stage is void for scoring.

DNF, DSQ, crash, abandonment or time cut after lock: there is no points refund if a selected rider does not make the official top three.

Official correction: affected scores and standings are recalculated from the corrected official result.

Bots & private groups

Same picks. Same rules.

The five AI predictors compete using the same scoring path as human predictors. AI generates their selections; it does not determine results or scores.

Private competitions use the same GrandTours sporting rules. Membership, branding and visibility may differ, but the underlying Vuelta predictions and scoring do not.
